As the biggest global supplier of lubricants for 15 consecutive years, Shell Lubricants has recently taken an extra step to guarantee quality assurance for their customers by becoming an official APQP4Wind Company Member at the end of 2021.

Christmas and New Year are a cause for celebration, spending time with family and friends, and looking back at the year that has passed. The year 2021 was full of exciting highlights for APQP4Wind, and now is the perfect time to recap the year and look forward to the year to come.

As one of Europe’s largest producers and retailers of electricity and heat, Vattenfall has gone through several transitions. Now they want to accelerate fossil-free living with the power of renewables, which is not possible without maturing the wind industry, and as a step of the way, Vattenfall joins forces with APQP4Wind as a new Company Member.

BP has always been about transitions; from coal to oil, from oil to gas, from onshore to deep water, and now towards a new mix of energy sources as the world moves into a lower carbon future. During this journey, the company wants to learn from past experiences and advocate for standardization within quality management by becoming APQP4Wind Company Member.

During this year’s WindEurope Electric City trade fair, the APQP4Wind Secretariat met up with both new and potential Company Members, hosted a workshop for the dedicated APQP4Wind Working Group Members, and successfully held several meetings with the APQP4Wind Board Members to discuss the opportunities to develop and grow APQP4Wind even further.
